Testimony of our lives

Since the beginning of our civilization, man has created and used an element that has built cities and cultures. A part that has been so fundamental in building the world and life: brick. Sometimes we forget that without the most elementary tools, man would not have been able to develop his plans. When we look at the home of our dreams, where we shall bring up our children and enjoy our grandchildren, we are contemplating the fundamental and everlasting work of brick, which establishes itself in our lives and becomes a testimony of them.

The brick is a symbol of our land

Brick is a historic element, used by the Ancient Egyptians and Romans, the basic material used in the Great Wall of China and the City of Pompeii, which even though it was largely destroyed by the volcano Vesuvius in the year 79 AD, the ruins are still standing, demonstrating the strength of brick.

A part that has been fundamental in building the world and life: brick

Architects from throughout the world and in all ages of history, have used brick as an elemental part of architecture. In the Mediterranean, great exponents such as Antoni Gaudí, Puig i Cadafalch or Doménech i Montaner, built a land with its own personality: a land of bricks. Today, Spanish contemporaries such as Rafael Moneo; magicians of brick such as Eladio Dieste for Uruguay; and the latest Pritzker prize winners such as Paulo Mendes da Rocha and Glenn Murcutt continue to use brick as total building technology.
